In the Woods: Chapter 10
Camera On
Yo, yo, yo! This is Andrew.
I know, our town stinks. It smells like rotten onions.
But guess what? We won.
On the first day of building the data center, everyone smelled this terrible smell. The builders came back the next day, and the smell stayed. And the next day. And the next. And the next.
And those terrible people said, “We can’t build a data center here. No one wants to work in this smelly town.”
And they left.
But guys, this is not the end. Our town is safe, but they will go to another town and build data centers there.
We need to spread the message: We need to protect nature.
I will keep making videos on YouTube, but not about Bigfoot. I don’t know where Areni is.
I will make videos about protecting our woods. There is so much beauty. It’s fall now, and the leaves are turning red and orange like a sunset. The squirrels bury acorns for the winter. Crickets cry in the night.
Are you with me? Let’s save our woods. Everyone’s woods.

That was my last lie. Areni, I do know where you are.
I did not see you die… But you are buried here, right? Next to the barn. Did your family bury you? Where are they?
You told me that a Bigfoot smells 100x worse when he is dead. You are right.
You loved these woods. You did not want to hurt people or animals, so you hurt yourself. You knew that your smell would stop the data center.
I wanted to help you. I really did.
But you helped us. You saved our woods.
Goodbye, friend.
